UE5.1: LiveLink VCam

With the LiveLink VCam app, users can turn their iPad or iPhone into a virtual camera in UE, not only to explore the virtual world but also to adjust parameters such as focus, zoom, and aperture, and record camera data, animation, and return timecode, among other things, on the aforementioned device.

Note: Currently only available on iOS devices.

Prerequisite:

- Enable plugins: Virtual Camera, Live Link, Remote Session, and Apple ARKit.

- Project Settings > Plugins > UDP Message > Unicast Endpoint: Enter the local IPv4 address (be sure to add:0 at the end).

- Project Settings > Rendering > Default Settings > Frame Buffer Pixel Format: Change to 8bit RGBA.

- Install the LiveLink VCam app on your iPad.

Setup:

2. Window > Live Link, add the iPad's Live Link Source.

3. VirtualCamera2 Actor > VCam > Output Providers: Check "is Active."

4. Enter the computer's IP address in the iPad app and connect.

If the VirtualCamera2 Actor does not have the VCam option, you can add it manually. (Manually Apply Output Providers > Unreal Remote)
